Total Carp Talks – Lumiax MKII Headlamp

Total Carp Magazine had First Look on the LUMIAX MKII HEADLAMP. – Here are their thoughts on it.

THIS NEW HEADLAMP BOASTS 135 HOURS OF BURNING TIME AND A BEAM RANGE OF 70 METRES.

Just when you begin to believe a headtorch cannot be improved any more, tackle companies continue to release another with even more features that prove to be beneficial to our carp angling.

Prologic’s Lumiax MKII Headlamp is one of those that not only exceeds expectations but most importantly boasts an incredible 135 hours of burning time from three AAA batteries.

The headtorch itself has been finished in a subtle matt green with an elasticated and adjustable headband, making it both practical and user friendly. To further help enhance the battery life is the use of the smart movement sensor technology, which has a shooting beam range of up to 70 metres.

There is also an option to use the movement sensor activation on the headtorch for white light. White and red light options can been implemented depending on the scenario the headtorch is being used in. The white light function has four settings, with a strobe light option as well as two settings on the red light function.

This model is most suitable for the angler who likes to go fishing in all weather conditions thanks to the IPX6 waterproof rating.
